Mountain Time April 2011

Ran away for the weekend to the mountains. Had fun hiking and relaxing.

Fudge shop! yum, it sure smelled good. But to be honest, I don't like that creamy, fudge shop fudge. I only like the marshmallow fluff homeade kind that is kind of crispy. mmmmmm

My "Birthday" Outing with Sharon March 2011

My sweet, crazy friend Sharon decided since she always forgets my birthday that she would get an early start this year and celebrate in March! She "kidnapped" me for the day and we went to Birmingham, shopped in Homewood, ate at a yummy cafe, toured the Botanical Gardens and had dinner at Whole Foods. :) Perfect day.

Found the funnest store in Homewood. We stayed for about 2 hours looking, dreaming, buying a little and laughing for about 20 min. at a rack of cards so that the tears were coming.

This inspired me to decorate my mantle with churches for Easter.

The Botanical Gardens were gorgeous.

Poppy's Birthday March 2011

For Poppy's birthday Johnny, Monique and all of our family offered to help him clean out the workshop back of his shop. Sounds crazy, but it was really fun! We hauled stuff out, sorted, threw away and organized.

Until she and Johnny announced that there will be a new baby in the family in September!!!!!!

Then we made her SIT DOWN. We are so super excited about having a baby, grandchild, cousin and niece/nephew! What a sweet blessing. And a happy birthday surprise for Poppy!

Ellie's Birthday March 2011

Ellie had an "arts and crafts party" with a few friends. We had lots of crafts set up and the girls had fun making balloon flip flops, necklaces, bracelets, quilling pictures, tissue paper pictures, ect. When they needed a break from crafting they would run into the backyard and jump on the trampoline for a few minutes and then it was back to work! It was a fun afternoon.
