A Little Disney Fun

We decided to take a super-quick trip to Orlando to have some Disney Christmas fun.
The condo has been accessorized accordingly. :)

I saw this character sign someone,s autograph book and it said. "Green Army Guy." heehee

You won't see too many pictures of the boys in this post, Craig took the men to ride roller coasters while Ellie and I snacked ourselves across the parks and meandered among all the Christmas fun. We had a ball.

This is at the Toy Story 3D ride. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes to get to it but it's worth it! Later, Ellie and I did it by ourselves and we were in and out in 25 minutes! Unheard of!!

Cinderella's Castle, all Christmassy.

A little Crawford fun in between days!

Ellie made the rounds talking to different characters.

Ellie asked Sleeping Beauty which dress she liked better, the pink or the blue. She said she just couldn't choose. She asked Ellie which SHE liked best and when E said pink, SB said, "Then I'm SO glad I wore the pink one for you today!"

Ellie asked Belle what her favorite book was and she said Sleeping Beauty, full of adventure, far off places and romance!

The life sized gingerbread house at the American Pavilion in Epcot. Yummy!

E got to participate in the American parade.

Cute rooster puppet from China.

Dancing lights at D/H Studios. It was snowing soapsuds!!

Ellie and I caught the very last Little Mermaid show of the day. We got to sit on the front row.

Thanksgiving and Drew Preston's Birthday

Thanksgiving was so much fun this year! We had (starting at the left, bottom) Edsel, Tucker, Drew Preston, Grandmother, Robyn, Poppy, Sully, Ellie, Grannie and Craig. Very fun day.

Pre-turkey frisbee.

Thanksgiving entertainment.

The boys read a funny list of Thanksgiving "you might be a redneck ifs....."

The table!

Bread dough rising!

My mom and the kids made these adorable turkey cookies.

The Thanksgiving snoozers.

Knitting with grandmothers.

Thanksgiving squash!

Drew Preston and Ellie made pilgrim dioramas for Thanksgiving. They were so clever! This is DP's fence, to keep the deer out of the garden. Ellie's corn is shown from seed to grown plant. She even "planted" her seeds with fish to help them grow, just like the Indians showed the pilgrims.

Drew Preston's 11th Birthday. His friend Grayson spent the nite, we had no school (my kids say, we don't get some federal holidays off from school but we get birthdays!!!), and he got fun presents and brownies as a cake.

We tend to really let go when we sing the birthday song......

The warriors. Drew Preston got airsoft guns for his birthday and the battles have been raging.

As part of Drew Preston's birthday celebration we asked lots of families to come have an ultimate frisbee game at a park in our neighborhood one Sat. am. The weather was cool and crisp, a little windy for frisbee and except for the sore muscles, everyone seemed to have a great time.

We got some red rags to tie on since all the kids were about the same size and didn't know who was on what team. It helped a lot!

Wait for it, wait for it....

Ninja frisbee.

The "strollers". We have decided it would be great fun to do this every Sat. am. The kids can play and the girls can stroll and get some exercise!

Oh How I Love Fall

Taco pie. Yummy.

Honey Crisp apples, our favorite!! We've made 3 apple crisps for breakfast already.

Our cat, Batman, loves to sun himself on the haybales. He is the perfect addition to our fall display. :)

Found this wagon wheel at an antique/junk place in Wetumpka. Love it.

A Weekend with John Clark

Johnny and John Clark came to visit for the weekend while Monique went to a wedding. We all had so much fun cuddling and feeding him! We missed his little squeaks when he left!
Oh, how I miss this!
