More Normandy Pics

This is written on our bedroom door. Don't know what the beginning says buy Bonne nuit is good night. Bonne nuit everyone!
The back of our gypsy caravan.

One of the windows at our B&B.

Sully stood there watching the cows that live next door. Sully the farmer.

Ellie and DP had tea on our front porch. Love that they love tea!

A road through one of the villages. Lots of the roads have these high old walls lining them.

Loved this door.

  1. I'm really enjoying your door pictures! It's a nice sub-theme for your European adventure.

  2. We saw a door like thatin Wittenburg, Germany last year (Martin Luther's town) and then it opened and out came a yellow, sure 'nuff, front end loader with a load of broken up concrete - kind of ruined the feel of it all...

  3. Asked Rich what the message was written on the door. He's not sure...he thinks it's some kind of slang and really doesn't translate to anything that makes sense. Great keeping up with your trip. What fun! Praying for Beverly. Blessings, Denise

  4. I don't speak French, but a few minutes with Google translate reveals:

"A camper for my sweetheart! Good night!"

And it rhymes in French, but not in English.
