The Queen is here!

The Crooked House

Sully pouring tea.

Ellie adding sugar cubes.
We are in Windsor, England and the flag is flying over the castle which means the Queen is in residence! The first thing we did is eat at the Crooked House-tea and scones! Yummy! All the kids drank tea and liked it. Craig had "Earl Grey" (just like Jean-Luke Picard, trekkie), Sullivan and Drew Preston had "Gunpowder" which did not blow them away but was good anyway, Tucker had some kind of Chai, Ellie had rose and I had orchid. Ahhhhh. The scones and clotted cream are unbelievably yummy.
Jet lag has not been so bad!
Praying for Beverly!
Praying for Ivy and Co. !

  1. Oh, I should have guessed The Crooked House would be the very first stop in Winsor! I remember it with much fondness AND lots of rain. Looks as if you have better weather. Have fun and say hello to the Queen.

  2. What a fun day! I loved your pictures and had to smile when I saw the picture of the doors! Scones and tea, castles.... We just finished studying Henry VII so that was interesting to know about his tomb! I had fun traveling with you in your blog today!
